Distance/Difficulty: Approx 45-50 km Leisure, Route is mostly paved flat with a few gravel sections. There are a couple of short, steep hills riders may easily walk it they prefer.   Suitable for all bikes.

Description: Nokiidaa is Ojibwa for “walking together” This route we will “ride together” from Newmarket in the north to Oak Ridges in the south and explore the most scenic sections of the Nokiidaa trail. Terrain is 50% paved or gravel valley trails, and 50% side streets. There are a few short sections (1km sections or less) on busier roads due to physical obstacles (rail lines, rivers).

Eatery: Pack a lunch so we can stop at a park enroute, Pop at the end of the ride. .

Distance/Difficulty: 55 km, Intermediate- Advanced, Ideally suited for mountain, hybrid, gravel and cyclocross bikes.   (Very loose gravel in sections make this ride unsuitable for skinny tires)

Description: Start from the Aldershot Go Station and Ride past the Royal Botanical Gardens in Burlington to Locke St. Village in Hamilton and explore some of the old areas of Hamilton including a gentle climb up the escarpment. Then head to Westdale and McMaster University and Coote’s Paradise area and into Dundas before Circling back to Aldershot Station. Bring a packed lunch but there will be places to purchase food as well.

Distance:  55 km intermediate.

Description:  Ride past the scenic hills and dales of the Caledon country side on easy rolling rail trail. Picnic lunch and snack stop on Belwood lake by the Grand river dam overlook. We have the option to split the group into Faster-Longer ride to beautiful Fergus and a medium at a slightly slower pace. Washrooms are available but please pack your lunch for this one. (all routes stop in Bellwood for home made Ice crème and or a few of their famous Butter tarts)

Eatery : We stop in a park along the trail. Please pack a lunch.
(Post ride Drinks, BBQ, Live music at under the tarps of GoodLot Farmstead and brewery.   

Distance / Difficulty : 60k. (50 option available)  Rail trail with pea gravel not suitable for skinny tires.

IMPORTANT : Start location differs from previous years. Please check B4 driving up.

Description: This popular ride just north of the busy city streets is perfect for a evening roll.  Starting from platform 2 of Pioneer village subway parking lot, ride the Finch corridor to the Black Creek trail then head south for a scenic loop of Downsview park. Suitable for all bikes. One big hill but can be walked.

Description: This intermediate ride has lots of variety. A scenic 55 K, through Mennonite farms, small rural villages and rolling pastures. The route follows the kissing Bridge rail trail and returns on quiet paved and gravel rural roads (Hybrid tires recommended). There is one slow grade hill with a terrific view.

Eatery: Please pack a lunch. we will be stop at an outdoor pavilion in Elmira. We will  post have post ride drinks and dinner on the Ariss golf course patio.

Distance/Difficulty: 55 km , Intermediate. Rail trail with rough gravel, best for Hybrids. Long distances between stops please come prepared with extra water and repair kit.

Description: A new twist on and old fav. This scenic tour of the Hamilton waterfront and Niagara Escarpment is a can’t miss. The tour passes  such landmarks as Hamilton Beach, Albion Falls, the escarpment rail trail and includes scenic vista of Cootes Paradise and Hamilton’s inner harbour. 

Eatery : Pack a lunch for this one. We will stop at a park shelter.

Distance/Difficulty: 55-60 Km. Mostly flat, quiet streets with some gentle up’s and downs. You should be prepared for an intermediate pace.

After the ride members may go to a nearby pub or sit out on a patio if weather permits.
