General Guidance

In order to partake in TBC events participants must ;


• have accepted the club a waiver and code of conduct. (Note: Member Status is automatically verified at time of event booking/registration. Non members must join the club to book/register)
• be booked/registered on the event page.
• arrive by the start time listed on the event page.
• adhere to the club social media policy and club Facebook rules.

For bike rides …
• be prepared to start riding at the start time listed on the event page.
• have a bicycle that is in good working order. That is, the bicycle will have good: tires, brakes, gears, handle bars, rims, forks and frame. Ebike’s must meet TBC’s <Ebike policy>.
• ensure their bike has a working bell or horn.
• wear a CSA or CPSC approved cycling helmet while riding.
• carry proof of ID and personal insurance.
• use front and back lights on evening rides.
• yield to other cyclists, pedestrians and motorists when riding (for instance do not ride too close or cut off others).
• obey all traffic safety rules.

We also request riders review
1. The ride <category> and ride description before booking to ensure the ride is right for them.
2. The <Group cycling etiquette> that all TBC members are expected to uphold.
