Gatineau

The Outaouais region offers cyclists a vast network of scenic rides in the beautiful Gatineau Park,  along the Rivière des Outaouais, and the many lakes in the area. On this trip we will be riding trails in the Gatineau Park, a sanctuary for more than 150 species at risk, taking us through the Gatineau Parkway, Champlain Lookout, Chelsea, Pink Lake and more. We will also be riding on the trails along the waterfront between Quebec and Ontario.

50-60 km per day rides are planned for Friday and Saturday
30-40 km ride is planned for Sunday

Level of difficulty:  Routes will be mostly paved, however there will be a few sections of gravel and dirt. Given hilly nature of Gatineau park, and length of routes, the rides are deemed intermediate level. Suitable for hybrid and road bikes or e-bikes. Not for commuter bikes or single-gear bikes.

Travel time from Toronto to Hotel in Gatineau approx. 4.5 hours.

Included :
3-nights accommodation, based on double occupancy, at a 4-star hotel & resort. Each room is equipped with 2 beds (double or queen), a small refrigerator, coffee/tea maker. Property has a fitness centre, parking, and is adjacent to a thermal spa. Guests of the hotel receive a $10 rebate on use of spa (not on treatments).
3 breakfasts
2 box lunches (vegetarian or non-vegetarian option, salad, and dessert)
1 group dinner (excludes alcohol beverages)
Guided bike rides on Friday, Saturday and Sunday (half-day)
